The Ashima Horizon Blade, named after climber Ashima Shiraishi and developed in collaboration with her over two years of iterative testing, is designed around lens geometries specifically optimized for outdoor climbing. Utilizing a 6-base frame construction, the frame incorporates extended peripheral lens coverage for enhanced visual protection. The lens design features four strategically placed ventilation holes near its center, engineered to improve airflow and reduce fogging under dynamic conditions. The 125mm temples are specifically constructed to accommodate helmet use, making the frame suitable for climbing and cycling applications. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips ensure a secure, personalized fit, reinforced with a grade 2 titanium core in the temple tips for added strength. Our signature D+ therapeutic-grade lenses are crafted from a shatterproof polycarbonate compound. The interior surfaces feature anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings, providing comprehensive eye protection while repelling water and oil. D+ Black Rose is an advanced sports lens engineered for trail running and physical pursuits that involve variable light conditions. The lens allows 15.67% of visible light transmittance. The lens also offers 100% UVA/B protection while transmitting 14.19% of blue light.
